I used mozilla when it was a pile of near compile code they dropped upon the world. Took 45 mins to compile on my old Linux power 75mhz machine at the time...

Heh I sometimes miss Jul's item shop editor... used to make stuff like funny novelty items and cheap but good weapons/etc.

We have a shop editor. Since before Kafuka launched. I don't think any perms are set. So only I can use it right now. It's not a separate file but actually a part of the item system itself.

That was a limited edition flavor wasn't it? Did you decide it was like enough to make it a permanent flavor?

Note: if you absolutely have to use non-ASCII characters for things such has non roman languages (Kanji, Kana, Hangal, etc) board names.. make sure you use a unix compliant encoding. UTF-8 BOM usage will 100% break the RPG graphics if it is in any of the files it includes. (php prints the character out as it's beyond the php brackets.)

That said we don't support doing so simple due to the amount of ways it can break stuff. AB2 has support for getting stuff like board names and the like from the database. That would be the preferred method for any non-ASCII board names.

In the actual code other than config.php the standard is ASCII format for php sanity. Any pull requests with anything odd will be bounced so keep that in mind.

I have many.. some I've never used as they have specific purposes. Others are legacy ones I like to keep around. While I am shying away from my "Luigi Louise" I wanted to keep a lot of it in tact as I worked hard and it was just a big part of my layout for a while.

A long time ago it was made that way to keep them more or less private for surprises. Admins only see it in case they need to remove an offending one. The only way it would work is if it was an opt in affair..

Flat keys are a mixed bag. I can get along with them, but some of them have weird large sizing, where I just can't type without typoing every few seconds. Some also have like no gap between keys.

It's very strange; I have the infamous "butterfly switch" MacBook (the one they're currently selling) for my personal laptop and it doesn't really bother me too much... but the work keyboard, which has more travel (if barely), has been bothering me a lot... maybe because it's external and I use external keyboards differently?

At home I have a Das Keyboard which has Cherry Switches in it. The keys are close together and such but it has good travel and nice clickity-clackity. At work I has a simple stock dome cap keyboard. I have the chance to replace it with a chicklet keyboard but I have yet to do so.

I also have a few metal mac keyboards (before the butterfly switch) and I kinda like the space between keys. I wonder if anyone made a mechanical keyboard in that style. (I prefer mechanical keyboards. I am still thinking about getting a unicomp buckle spring one at some point)

Bottom line.. it just matters what works for you.
