After 5000 posts here, more I believe than on the original Acmlm's Board, it got me thinking ahead to the future, as well as a bit of nostalgic reflection about the things I've thought about since I first started coming around these parts.

I was a kid during the age of mainstream consumer internet and the Dotcom boom. When Acmlm's first came about, it felt like the first taste of what was to come; an interconnected future where everyone had an online presence, and individuals the world over could interact with one another.

Even though the rise of modern day social media and it's ills are now a daily reality for us all, it does not change the wonder I had back then, nor does it dilute the hope I have for the future in the era of smart devices and connection.

The questions: What sort of ideas have you had for the internet and the future of tech? What are some of the things that bring you that sense of wonder, and what do you hope to see in the future?

How in the world did they get away with showing a severed lantern head on TV?

I've actually used the switch kickstand before. It's more of an occasional use thing, since I usually use it docked, but when I do use it, I'm very glad it's there.

Finally pleasant at long last. In the low 80s the past couple days.

Also, Fl4k looks amazing, but still sticking with Zane on launch.

Playing a lot of Street Fighter V since they added E. Honda and Poison.

Honda seems like a perfect progression of the character. Poison is considerably different, but has a lot of fun tools. I just might play them at Evo next year.

Very good question, since there's so many ways you can determine what makes a "good" villain. I honestly am not sure how to answer that. The Joker would be a little too on brand.

FL4K does seem like my style. Zane looks neat, as does Moze. I just can't find an appeal to like Amara, despite normally enjoying elemental damage.

I get the sense that a lot of people feel the same way. It almost feels like they played it a little too safe with Amara, despite having a lot of features a lot of people seem to love. All the chance taking seemed to go to the other characters, bringing the fan interest with them.

Borderlands 2. The hype for BL3 is real, and I'm reliving some Axton adventures.

Played some Teppen today.

In case you don't know what it is, it's a F2P mobile card game with popular Capcom characters. It's like a fast paced version of Magic: The Gathering and it's a ton of fun.
