As for the question in the topic, I did so once or twice my first year of college, where I would deliberately "oversleep" to avoid certain morning classes which I didn't need to attend for my grade to be good anyway. (But still had to put on the facade of "forgetting" to turn on my alarm and such to not feel too guilty in order to appease myself )

Man, talk about falling to the dark side

I was walking down an overly wide road with my girlfriend, and we started talking about random things. Eventually this turned into bringing up the "Pikachu blimp disaster", which turns from a discussion into watching a video/simulation/being there, it wasn't entirely clear. Some sort of Microsoft event in winter at a frozen-over lake, and then they fill a massive blimp of Pikachu and send it bouncing across the lake. I look away for a moment and then it's summer, and Mary is in a swimsuit running to the now-obviously-artificial (but previously natural-looking) lake to take pictures, everyone else is screaming and running away though. (Thus why I assumed it was a simulation) Then the lake rapidly freezes over, the Pikachu blimp continues bouncing... then a cold voiceover starts reading out the list of names of people who died in the blimp attack, then my alarm clock woke me up.

Remember when I said this?
