2 of my old laptops have done the exact same thing, even BIOS reflashing does not yeild any good results.
People say that often the keyboard's connector cable/ribbon to the mainboard can get loose on most laptops and could cause the keyboard malfunction, as for your HDD, probably died, I had one that did that too, replacing it worked though... --- ANYWAY, back to the initial issue at hand, have you tried an external keyboard? I have on both of mine, but the external keyboard suffers the exact same issue, so it's probably not the internal keyboard's ribbon at fault... |

This happens so often for me, I mean, I see that same thing Taryn does so often, and I do often confuse male users for banned users.
More funny though, since I used to read silly fanfics a lot a while ago, I started to get into that whole slenderman craze, but I often find myself mistaking many things for him since I myself live next to a forest that is usually pretty dark due to density. |

Once again, a new layout, hopefully, that last for a good while, as my average time-at-pc has been shrinking lately due to work, moving and whatnot.
Anyway, This one features gradients overlayed with a 25% transparent stripe background, and a Rainbow Rash! (yes, a triple layer background)... And that nice pure CSS glass imitational text wrapper. n.n |

So yeah, pretty much, I'm trying to narrow down what actually is making the difference in cursor lag when various DirectX based games and applications is so much worse in windowed mode as opposed to fullscreen mode.
Now, here are a few tests I've done to try and resolve this issue which only appears to be present in Vista and Windows 7 and 8.
So far, I have not found the cure for this, and the thing that gives me hope, is the fact this issue was and is not present in any version of Windows prior to Vista. The game I've noticed this most in and been basing these tests on is osu! I know some of you here have vast knowledge in areas like this, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help diagnose the cause of this issue. |
