Hey, since we were talking about alcohol earlier: what's your experience with the shit?

When I'm at home I like to have a glass of wine or two every night... (it's perfectly legal for me!) Over here I don't have a bottle opener, and don't really like the aftertaste of box wine. >_> (I suppose a bottle opener is not a hard thing to obtain, but alcohol is kind of expensive and I don't want to blow all my money on it :P)

Usually it takes a lot to get me tipsy- I've never had enough to get drunk, and I've drank several bottles of beer (which I hate the taste of) without much of an effect. (It's kind of weird, since I'm so light...)

I would say so- wine is something like 11.5%, beer only 4%... so you would need to drink ten times as much beer to get the same alcohol content. o_O

Also, did you know there actually is a way to close Metro apps?
It's so non-intuitive you are never going to find it out without Googling it.
Seriously, how hard would it have been to put a little X top right?

Huh? It's easy to close metro apps, you just need to go to the left hidden-taskbar and right click... Really they should just add a smaller X, but it's easier than it is to, say, remove extra desktops in OS X Lion. (Not sure how you'd do it on a tablet, though)

Also, the whole "I couldn't choose Word from a list in the Start Menu, I had to go to the Start Screen and go to the list of programs there!" seems like kind of a pointless complaint.

When we started, I saw @Acmlm and @Emuz and had hopes this would be like the original AcmlmBoard, living those good times @Kawa often told me about.
But now, after 3 months, we have just 80 users. As @Trapster said, so many oldbies not appearing here, and Jul or even board2 have so much bigger user lists.
You could say, give it some time. But in the past 2 months, just 10 new users have registered, and these have written a mere 19 posts in total.

Well, the board attracted me, who hadn't been around much in the non-Jul group before then. But yeah, I don't know... the original Acmlmboard was a different time, and had a lot to attract people to it... Kafuka is still extremely obscure.
