I'd say very yes. You can make your own magic depending on what you name then. Lets say...Super Flame, for example. Different prefixes has different effect. Here's another useful one for ya. Lefna.

I play a non-anarchy Mechromancer in BL2. Gotta love Deathtrap's ability to clear rooms by sneaking in through the wall.

I know another way to clear a room. Too bad DT can't do that.
