Feeling pretty damn good.

Gord Quest finally saves and loads basic level data.

Now to get a tile selector panel. Or something.

EDIT: Got it to load the actual tileset I'm going to use and work with the right offsets. Today is a good day.

The future of Gord Quest is hopefully going to be a nice fully featured platform game.

But I've got to get it to at least a workable demonstration thereof within... 29 days? :<

I get more megapixels on my two computer monitors than most cameras could produce a quality image for.

Biking? I mean, I would hope there would at least be a bus or something he could take...

We tried to figure out a way to get him some money for a bus (he spent his money on a laptop that his stepfather recently smashed), but he'd need money to be able to get that money and he's also only 17 and... yeah.

~1200 miles because no freeway travel on a bike.

$200 bus trip in less than 24 hours. $Life bike trip over the course of god knows how long.

E: I've got him routed straight-line Texas to Ohio. It's 1100+ miles, straightforward, and includes zero states with bottle deposit laws.

He's basically screwed. I could route him up to Iowa, but that's a detour that would add many extra miles... it'd be less than 100 miles more to go in a straight line...

... ;_;

E2: The last destination I pointed him at was less than fifteen miles away.

That was three hours ago... ;_;
