I think I'm starting to lose my taste for my old preferred salad dressing for the opposite reason, too oily...

The heat wave continues here too. Nominally temperatures have dropped a bit since yesterday, but I haven't been outside yet and they haven't dropped in here.

Right now? A pink and white striped top and a blue pleated skirt, with the two interlinked hearts necklace.

Last night, though, I had a really cute outfit with a short black dress, a long black tail and thin metallic jewel cat ears.

Basically, the idea is that light is always at the same speed no matter how fast you're going- so if you're running 10mph next to a train going 100mph, to you it would look like the train is going 90mph. But if you were running next to a beam of light, it wouldn't matter how fast you were going, it would always move at c. (This is why length and time have to depend on the speed of the observer, or that rule wouldn't be true) So essentially you can never catch up to the light beam. Basically you require infinite energy to accelerate an object with nonzero mass to c. (Photons, thankfully, have zero mass)
