Back when I was little my father had a Commodore 64. (and an Atari 400 for that matter) Basically I played with Commodore BASIC, and some of the arcade game clones.

After that went I started Kindergaten the school I went to had a pilot program that not only had Apple ][s but an actual Macintosh. The only one in the whole district. (the next year was different.. everyone that school had one) Used play those old MECC games like Oregon Trail, and Number Munchers. Soon after than I kind of ran the computer in my class room. (seemed to happen every year of my school too. I sended up being a lap tech in high school.)

Family Guy, and Mythbusters are a must. The rest of the time is stuff like South Park or random history and discovery stuff. (how it's made, Modern Marvels)

While I don't have much in the way of gaming music in the rotation. I have Mario and .hack music in my random playlist. .hack comes up a lot.

I still like the Paper Mario Soundtrack too but I don't listen to it anymore.

Oh? I am lucky I've only done one 12+ hour day (16) lots of money but dead on my feet. I wonder as anyone else worked more than 40 a week (either same job or over more than one?) I am curious how common it is?

I always try to make my layouts look good on 1024 pixels of width, for netbook and tablet compatibility.
mSprout's layout does not seem to fit that (BTW do we have blocklayout?).

I sometimes use the 27" (1920x1200) for fullscreen games and stuff, the browser goes on the 19" (1280x1024), using the full width (minus taskbar) and leaving vertical space for IRC, so it's usually around 1150x700 ... I'm already hating that trend towards increased font sizes and padding while 1920x1080 is getting common, but 1024 minimum width is still fine for now

I can't.. it's too small. The smallest device I use is my iPhone, and I still prefer a real keyboard.

I also have an iPad and a Galaxy Tab 10.1. (at least the touch keyboard is bigger.)

it is an awesome sofa! it's actually behind me, since my computer doubles as my tv, and my apartment is tiny. i got it from my grandfather after he threw a seven and have been hanging onto it ever since. when i moved in here, i actually had to saw the back legs off to get it through the narrow door. it's currently propped up on one side by a stack of books since i did a shitty job reattaching the legs and one broke when too many people sat on it at once

as for santa, i like having a light-up lawn friend watching over me indoors.

I was talking with DJ Bouche and KP that we could possibly start a Kafuka leader board and possbily hold competitions at regular intervals? We could do it as a bracket, or as a accumulated points system. Whatever.

I'm up for it, although how do you generally organize it and make sure people play fair?

Basically we'll get a set of people. Than we can discuss if we want to do leader board or bracket style (both have their pluses minuses, but the leader board can be done over time if someone can do a run for a while)

Than we'll pick a list of games for how ever many rounds we want. Than we'll sort then randomly so it's fair and hit them one at a time.

We'll need to work out if it has to be run live or best time submitted (Live really is the best way) and.. yeah mario kart style scoring: Points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Most points wins the cup! When we get badges working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will get a forum badge. That start over and repeat or change what works.

Thoughts?

I wonder if it'll give a 1-UP?
