This thread more or less is ment to be the town square. It kind of got bounced around on it's subject matter however. We can close and display case this thread + make newer thread specific to their topics, rename it the "town square" (or something not so copy pasta from board2) + start a introduction thread, or we can just keep going and see how far we can get with this thread in the post count.

I seem to most often get sprites on the "Thank you for posting a reply" page... which is too quick for me, I guess.

I would also expect many people on this forum will create links by using <a href=">," and therefore wouldn't follow any rules set up for [url]- consistency may be a virtue here?

I guess I'll put it as a tie between V and VI... however, I still haven't gotten around to playing through anything newer than VI, I should do that at some point.

Allowing (most) arbitrary HTML is I think one of the "selling points" of this board software, even if it can be a security risk...

The obvious example of what can't be done with BBcode is the entire post layout thing- I mean, you could reimplement everything in some sort of code that gets preprocessed as HTML/CSS, but why bother?

Well, my layout is also pretty bright, and I use one of the darker board schemes (Minus World)...

I guess I'm just less sensitive to brightness clashing, I don't see any issue with Gywall's layout.

I suppose Kodak will now end up like Polaroid...

Dinner for me was a burrito with ground beef, cheese, beans, lettuce, sour cream, and tomato... it was alright, only downside was that somehow it ended up in such a way that all the ground beef and beans were in one half of the burrito, and everything else was in the other half.

IIRC Vizzed is based on the 1.A3 version of Acmlmboard, Jul on the 1.92 version, and SMWC is a complete recode.

I'm not sure what distinguishes the "Acmlm's" generation from the "Second" really- just that the Second is newer and less coded by Acmlm as a percentage? (But there were extended Acmlmboards even way back- I remember Tuvai even implemented the legendary battle system)

I was too lazy to walk to the cafeteria, plus I wanted to have leftovers for tomorrow morning (so I wouldn't have to walk to the cafeteria then either), so I ordered a pizza. Sausage and mushroom, which is usually a pretty good combination.

I usually don't like to have programs start with Windows, even though I usually have a set I open immediately on boot- on those occasions where I do want to just do something quick, though, I don't want to have to wait for Outlook or something to load. (Though I don't use Outlook anymore anyway, I suppose... )
