Costume turned out very nice! The only way people get pictures of me is either in costume, or they are ninjas about it. I'm usually the one who takes pictures anyway... that helps.

Depends. I mean until we can sort by +'s it doesn't matter so much now. I guess we could have it stored separate, displayed either way we find the best, and it could use the sum to sort it on the forum thread list. Would also allow things like "Turn tread red after X -1's) or something. Thoughts?

-1 will and should carry more weight than +1's for sure.

BUT. All topic are free to exchange except anything that aren't directly related to trolling, insulting, and threats. I'd say limit the more taboo subjects too, but unless it's an issue and it's in moderation it's fine. If many people complain about something we'll act accordingly. That old hat.

On topic. Basically. MLP is like anything, some like it, some don't. Just ignore the topics you don't like without insulting or throwing gas on a fire. IRC can have 3 topics going at the same time, and gears shift fast.

I'll speak with the staff about official rules.

Simple one is: If an op tells you to stop or move on to another subject, than do so. say "I am not a fan of Z" not "Z sucks". Etc.

-The general guidelines do apply on IRC as on the forums to the degree that if there is no rule use that as a guide on how to act.

Actually you are wrong. If you don't like something don't post in that thread. That's not polite. If you have a resonable counter argument that's fine, but trolling via "you are trolling" is not the way to do it.

Edit: knuck no idea if were serious about that or not, but that is trolling too. Calling out trolls is being antagonistic even joking. I'd avoid that.. especially if you put it in a spolier.. makes it look malicious..

I was thinking in future of adding an actual CSS field and disabling the link tag. This opens up some more potential, keeps things clean if the the selectors could are all automatically suffixed to avoid conflict, and they could even be preprocessed by something like Less or similar, if we wanted to.

And another idea came to mind was canned post layouts (both board in built, and user save/loadable)
