I've been tempted to try writing an Acmlmboardesque in the "modern" node backend/react frontend software stack, but then I remember the entire target audience for such a thing would be highly offended

I wish there was a competition here-- it's most definitely the classic GET BLUE SPHERES.

And it is most definitely not CATCH THE UFO!... the Sonic Mania special stages were terrible IMO.

I really don't know... I've basically sworn off that genre when I can avoid it. >_>

It may even have been House (the 1977 Japanese film), which is pretty comedic for a horror movie.
