I figured since the Zero Punctuation wallpaper in the opening post was marked as a PSP wallpaper, I wouldn't have to mention that all other similarly sized images denoted as wallpapers had to be specified as such. |

I started gaming in the NES era. I missed the Atari and everything before it, but I don't think I missed very much. |

I did some grocery shopping today and got one of the Digriorno pizzas that come with the bread sticks. Not the greatest lunch, but at least it's something since I haven't eaten much over the past few days. |

Posted by LilianaApparently the NES is the N64 now, because I posted: Posted by TreliorBefore @Liliana said everyone started with N64. |

Posted by GywallGood, it can keep getting bigger for all I care, I've stopped caring again, because every time I go to do something else and come back, there's a twenty post gap between me and everyone else. Fuck being competitive at this point. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm spamming to continue to get points, so to hell with the KCS. And seriously, stop calling me that. |

Why does the song Monkey Versus Robot come to mind with today's title? |

While I wait for a bunch of Wii games to download, I've been playing Final Fantasy II and Paper Mario.
Final Fantasy II has just been random fucking around... I dunno why, but I have more fun grinding myself stupid, testing how high I can raise my stats in a particular area, than I do actually progressing the story. I think part of it is knowing that I won't have Mindu much longer, and unlike Gordon and Leila, he won't rejoin before he blows himself up, and I need him to be at least somewhat resilient for the post-game since he'll be the party leader. As for Paper Mario, I did Chapter six and started fucking around after the chapter was over, since I can't seem to trigger Chapter seven. All I have to say is this: Side quests are too fucking arduous and stupid in this game, especially for the foggoty Koot Koopa. That motherfucker sends you on so many pointless fetch quests that aren't really worth it half the time since all he gives you is ONE COIN! Occasionally he'll give you something cool, like his Playground Pass or bundles of three Star Shards... But the good prizes are given once every too fucking far apart. |

Posted by GreyMariaYou just outright said the name of the song.Posted by Trelior I hate country music. The only reason I know that song is because both of my parents listen to country nigh religiously, and a lot of the songs being played on many of the radio stations they listen to make me want to beat my own brain out though my ear hole. |

Chapter six was Flower Fields, where you have to stop the retarded cloud Huff 'n Puff. I hated that boss fight, if only because I kept fucking up my timing on my jumps, which was only made worse by the fact that I had used Super Jump Charge and Goombario's Charge at least three times each, then getting fucked by only getting a 2-3 hit combo.
Oh man... Borderlands is expensive right now... $30 for GOTY? Fuck, I got it for less than ten a few months ago. I'm glad I bought it on sale. |

So... I'm sitting in the parts room at work... One thing, though, I apparently wasn't scheduled for work tonight. Gotta wait for midnight thirty for a ride home. Damn, I feel retarded. |

Posted by GreyMariaI could've sworn I checked the schedule before I left work on Monday morning, and I swear it said I was scheduled Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday... Only it didn't. Instead, I'm working Friday to Monday, which to the logical mind is actually Saturday to Tuesday since I'm expected to be to work ten minutes before my shift, which means working Saturday morning, I should be there by Friday 11:50 PM.Posted by Trelior The schedule is logically retarded. |

Posted by GywallWho said anything about fluctuating shifts? I've worked the midnight shift exclusively for the past eight or nine months. The complaint I have wasn't my shift changing... It was the days I work changing. |

More Paper Mario.
I finished up the shit jobs for the old jackass Koopa, then moved on to chapter seven. The progression of the chapter was kinda interesting, and I liked the Crystal Palace dungeon... The boss was bitch, though. Not only could I not afford to spent turns to power myself up, but I kept fucking up the timing on my jumps. He also kept Mario frozen during most of the fight, so I kept switching partners between Kooper, Goombario, and Bombette to keep laying on the pain. He kept healing himself, which didn't make things any easier. I think I wound up dealing twice his HP in damage before he went down. Now that I'm in the mid-chapter between seven and eight, I'm grinding in Flower Fields on the Amazing Daisies since they give a shit ton of star points. I'm level 21 right now with 40 HP, 35 FP, and 27 BP. I'm aiming to max out at least my BP before taking on Bowser, if only to have my attack power maxed out. |

Caionna waves dismissively at Bel and Natalie, then says, "Don't worry... Zarik and Zissou are fine. I'm sure of it." She stares at the ceiling distantly, and goes on, "Yes, we were separated during the struggle, but I'm certain they're both alive and well out there somewhere."
She begins to fidget with the rings on her right hand, which brings them to the attention of anyone watching her. One ring is silver with a deep red stone inlaid in it, and the other is golden with a green sapphire adornment. Both look very intricately engraved, and shimmer in a way that belies the angle of the light that hits the gemstones, as if to signify another source of luminescence. She nearly misses Kawa's entrance due to being lost in thought, then replies at disjointed length, "Oh, welcome back, Kawa..." Coming back to reality, she inquires, "What kind of quest are you on?" |

Final Fantasy II. This time, with story progression!
I just finished up Semite Falls and upgraded my team to Mythril (with the exception of my body armor and Maria's bow), my stats are waaaaaay through the roof for where I am, which is Bafsk before going to try to thwart the Dreadnaught (which fails, but anyone who's played FFII already knows that). I just got Mona, and had I not had to go to my sprite page to remember her name because of my gnat's memory right now, I was gonna comment on how the sprite looks like something from WarioWare... I was right.
Why do I get the feeling I should have played WarioWare at some point, instead of just shrugging it off as a gimmicky piece of shit? Probably because my inkling is right, and I'm gonna stick to that mindset. |
