No, I meant could the Epoch possibly go beyond the confines of the Earth's orbit and out into space like to the Algol star system or something? ^_~

My suspicion would be, since you end up in the same location in each time period, it's tied to Earth's gravity somehow?

Also, in the Algol Star System, people from Earth are evil, so... it'd be awkward to have Rolf have to fight Crono on the bridge of the Noah

It's worth noting that in real-world vision (and pre-recorded video) you have motion blur, which you can't get as accurately in games, so higher frame rates aren't as important as they are in video games.
