♥11721 ✿4735 ★68 After a few weeks of 90's and deathly humidity, it's fairly nice here too with a high of 73F-- time to open all the windows (and hope not too much rain comes in), turn off the AC, and air out the apartment x.x |

♥11723 ✿4735 ★68 Discord uses Electron, a "framework" that is basically an entire instance of Chrome. It's very convenient and easy to program for, let's you share the code cross-platform and on the internet as well... but it's literally running another whole browser instance, which is about as inefficient as it gets.
Being cross-platform is hard, but I think Electron goes too far for what it is. (Yet, I do use an electron-based code editor...) I mean, I wrote Terraformer in Python/Tk, which does the same things as Electron, but is still way more lightweight because it doesn't have all the web browser baggage... |

♥11727 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danika It is cool! though those aren't the first two pieces that come to mind for me... (The TJ Maxx logo always makes me think of the Exxon logo, and that's from 1972) |

♥11728 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by ゼンガー・ゾンボルト Common misconception; a black hole doesn't have any more gravity than the same amount of mass. So if you were that massive already, you'd already have wiped us out without become a black hole. Posted by Danika Changing your name again? Or changing someone else's? |

♥11740 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danika I usually keep the default names; when I was younger I used to name them but after my first playthrough of Chrono Trigger renamed all the characters after characters from the Mario series I kind of lost interest in doing it |
