Eyy I'm scoring pretty high.
Quick question. One of these days I'd like to try and reach the highest posting syndrome I could possibly achieve just for fun, but I don't know if the mods would be okay with this due to the sheer number of posts I'd have to make even just to achieve Reinfors syndrome. Is it an issue if I post a lot if those posts aren't pure postcount++ material? EDIT: Just noticed the changed thread title. Did some research on who Taryn was and... that's very unfortunate to hear of her passing, even if it wasn't very recent. Even when its just someone on a forum or message board you see now and again that passes it feels like a family member passing away. On a board I used to be on, a situation like this happened before. It sucked then and it sucks now. I do hope Taryn is faring well on the other side. |

So after months of bullshit with school and applying to schools on the east, I managed to get into one of the best boarding schools in America. It was funny, my stepmom was coaching me on interviews and being prepared when I was gonna do a skype interview with another school, and then my dad (who was currently having a terrible kidney stone) steps out of the bedroom to tell us that he's the phone with the head of the school I'm going to and that I got in. Next thing I know, both my parents are crying and I'm just sitting there in disbelief (frankly I still have a hard time believing it).
I'm... kinda shocked, honestly. I mean I'm not dumb but I never expected to be given an opportunity like this. Hell, I was mentally preparing myself to have to go to public school because my grades were so bad (or at least I thought they were). So yeah< /brag>. |

Woah I'm back.
Moved to MA a month ago and honestly I'm loving it here. It feels nice to be mostly out of the year long slump I've been in. |
