So, the next update will have a few bugfixes as well as more goodies!
A tweak of the music handling code will allow me to specify using the Tetris GB Type-A music for levels. Although it works, some of the PCM samples used in the song are inside another bank that doesn't get loaded while levels are being played. It doesn't sound horrible, so I'll let it pass. The bank is loaded on world maps though, which is why it sounds fine there. A big game-breaking bug existed where the World 3 airship retreated to a point you couldn't get to. I fixed that. Another small bug got fixed where hammer bros sitting on top of a spade bonus pointer loaded up one of the unfinished bonus games instead of a hammer bro encounter. The vertical lock block now turns into a vertical road. The map editor I use constantly reverts it back again, so it might show up again in the future. I'll just have to keep my eye on it. A couple of minor graphical changes to spice up the game have been made. Also, CM3 now has three digit coin/deaths counters. A big thanks to snarfblam for making that change. So if you really suck ass at CM3, the game will show you how bad you are. I'll need to play through it a couple times again to make sure it plays fine before I release it. Stay tuned. |

Posted by PhysixIt's a general forum. Just with rom-hacking roots. You should make rom hacks. It's cool to be confused though, I'm not sure if anyone knows what the fuck they're doing here. And that's what makes it fun.Posted by Emuz |

Posted by TreliorI made the jump as Small Mario a few times. It's difficult, but it can be done. I also just use stars to get through. Also, here is Communist Mario 3 v1.1 in .nes format for you lazy people. I did tweak the items you get from various points in the game. I removed all but 1 anchor, all warp whistles and music boxes. I had to replace them with something. If you do an LP of it, just be casual. Version 1.1 has a few more small features in it over 1.0 and fixes a few bugs. |

The idea is that Emuz is older but is also happy. Age is only an illusion, even though it has purpose. But you know what? Fuggit. Not gonna get all deep on y'all today. Because we are celebrating Emuz birthday!
All hail the Founder. How many more years until your asshole just starts falling out? |

I dreamt that my boss proposed moving me to Alaska for a (much better) job. That's pretty much it.
What makes this interesting is the fact that, outside of slumberland, my boss actually suggested that moving me to another account is a possibility. I brought up my dream to the Xerox tech who was in-house to do some inventory management, and he says there are some openings there in Alaska now. Couple that with the fact that my boss tells me that I'm doing such a good job that our profit/loss and uptime statements are the highest in the country, AND it's consistent. It might be possible that I might get moved. Naw, I don't think it's going to happen though. |

If anyone has it, it's Emuz. Or one of his buddies. I'm sure he'll let you know when he sees this thread. |

Maybe you were a dick to them. You probably were.
But here's the kicker: They were in your place. You have the right to do whatever the fuck you want. They are in your domain. And you're right to be concerned over noise complaints, too. It's your fuckin' house, man! The party and the recording itself could have been an attempt at something which wasn't meant to "extract the fun out of [you]", but simply meant to just record the party. I understand you want to maintain good relations with these people, provided they keep their shit together. But the moment that they decide to start drinking (which they fucking KNOW is going to impair their judgment) is the point where they went wrong. They're shitty drunks, AND they have zero regard for you; hence, they made the decision to drink. Granted, they just want to have fun. But they can't go inciting shit because they don't know what the fuck is going on because they drank themselves under the table. If they want to come to you and talk about it, cool. I'd be a bit cautious about another party unless it's somewhere other than your place though. They just gotta know that the can't disrespect you like that. |

Work connection. It could be much higher, I don't really know; my connection to the network here is only 100Mb/s so it's probably bottlenecking at that speed. |

Wait, wait, wait. You changed "dense" to "awesome" because of bad language? And you didn't change "Christ" or "fucking"? |
