♥13621 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by DarkWitchClaire Definitely one from Super Mario 3D World... but which one, hm... that's a tough one. Probably one of the Mario Kart-themed levels. Those were wicked fun |

♥13622 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by DarkWitchClaire The Sims, somehow. I've never even played any of the games in that series Followed by "Short Message Service", and then if I really think "why is that ambiguous", Super Mario Sunshine. Posted by Danielle Yoshi's Island |

♥13624 ✿4735 ★68 Madou King Granzort. It's the second-best platformer on a console with two platformers!
It's actually decent enough. But I don't think it would get any attention if not for the whole "on a console with six games" thing. |

♥13628 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by DarkWitchClaire The Xperia Play. See, in the early 2010s, people were just convinced that cellphones were going to eat handheld gaming. And now Sony was making a major push to do just that. And like, at least the N-Gage is funny. |

♥13629 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle Nope, I only got my first cellphone in 2005 I think? And I think by that point the N-Gage was dead in the US. (Also, we didn't use a GSM network) And anyway, the first cellphone I got that wasn't a bog-standard flip-phone was in 2008... which was the Palm Centro. Posted by DarkWitchClaire More battery life; but honestly I'd rather have a more compact device than either. |

♥13630 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle Hardware-wise I guess the Commodore MAX Machine, if you count it as a console; and given that we usually count the Odyssey2, I don't see why it shouldn't? I mean, the VIC-II is debatably inferior to the PPU (smaller color palette, worse resolution in 4-color mode), but the SID is debatably superior (more flexible synthesizer channels, though the NES has more and has dedicate sample capability). Of course, the MAX machine has like, two games (but hey, they're by HAL!), and was released only for like a week in Japan for some reason. So on that note that there's better options... The ColecoVision was also pretty powerful for its time and had a decent game library. The Atari 5200 would be a good option if it didn't come with an awful controller. And I mean, the Vectrex is kind of its own thing, but nothing before or since has come close when it comes to drawing straight lines at any angle. |

♥13632 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle It might, but I always tend to come to hate my ringtones eventually, so I wouldn't do it... Posted by DanielC4 Hello, I'm the least friendly on this page Welcome to the site! I guess it's a little confusing due to the nonsense thread title, but this is an "ask thread", so you need to ask questions to the user. I'd also recommend that, assuming the age in your profile is accurate, you avoid threads marked "NSFW" like this one Though I guess it doesn't really matter, nothing NSFW has happened in here for ages and all the old images are broken As for hacking Super Mario World, neat; I'd recommend you check out SMW Central for that but I haven't been paying attention to them lately so I don't know if they're worth recommending still... |

♥13635 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle I guess because it's an actual program? Posted by DarkWitchClaire I'm not sure. Probably a sprite comic I'll say El Goonish Shive though to be more "on-brand". |

♥13640 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by EpelePosted by DarkWitchClaireJust a clarification point. It's quicker to ask me on IRC, as you can guarantee I'm likely about. If I'm not on IRC, then I'm asleep, at work, or just plain unavailable for whatever reason. Meanwhile, because inconsistency is important, you don't want to ask me on IRC, it's the easiest platform for me to lose messages on due to the way my bouncer is set up. Oops... |
