♥13741 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle He disapproved of my usual driving playlist (varies a lot but always starts with Sandra's cover of Everlasting Love)-- at least, I assume he disapproved of it, why else would he spend the entire car ride making distressed meows? |

♥13743 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle I would imagine Dexter doesn't like most holidays because I might leave... he ends up alone those times Posted by DanielC4 Very nice! (I don't drink coffee, but I'm assuming any hot beverage will help) I've never seen a meteor shower in person... too much light pollution around here, and I've always lived in densely populated areas Posted by DarkWitchClaire Dexter likes to flop... on top of me |

♥13746 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle Never played it, but can that be true in a world where SimCity 2000 exists? Posted by DarkWitchClaire *looks up gameography* Doesn't look like it... wait, Seaman got a sequel?! |

♥13747 ✿4735 ★68 Yeah, if you already have access to all the games through other means I wouldn't bother. There's some minor updates (widescreen in Sunshine, using the Shindou edition of 64) but nothing really worth getting too excited for. |

♥13750 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle 1. This Atari 410 that keeps dying and I can't find replacement belts for it (there's a kit on ebay, it doesn't work) 2. The Coleco Adam, which required special cassette tapes and fried them if you turned on the machine with them inside |

♥13751 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by DarkWitchClaire The Commodore 1541. There's just no excuse for it being too slow. Okay, yes, there is an excuse, they wanted it to be compatible with the VIC-20, and the VIC-20 couldn't do fast shift register-assisted transfers over its serial port due to a bug in the PIA. But here's the the thing: the Commodore VIC-1540 was VIC-20 only, it didn't work on the C64! So they were already selling an incompatible drive! (And it was faster sdhgkshdgklshgklshdg) Like I think the real reason must be that Commodore was still hoping for the CBM-II machines to catch on or something Like idk include a faster serial port with a shift register on the C64 and sell some shitty adapter for the VIC-20 user port or something. Man if I went back in time I would have so many suggestions for Commodore and I would bring back advanced 29th century weapons to make sure they listened to me |

That's a card I've been looking for for ages and the video did not disappoint! ...and it makes me want one even more damn Posted by Danielle Probably the LaserActive, though I don't have the PAC to connect it to a computer, so maybe it doesn't count |

♥13753 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by Danielle I'll go with the ZX Spectrum, original model. It's so tiny (seriously, it's so small) and it has a cute little rainbow! And look at its keyboard-- sure it's awful to type, but so many colorful text around, and it's trying its best!! Now imagine if it was pastel instead of black... Posted by DarkWitchClaire There are some pretty adorable custom keyboards out there-- my current desktop keyboard uses DSA Astrolokeys keycaps for example, sadly at the time I bought them only the text labeled modifiers were in stock-- but look at Maddie's ortho selection, so adorable! |

♥13760 ✿4735 ★68 Posted by DarkWitchClaire Hmmm nothing immediately comes to mind; maybe that Ranma 1/2 text adventure, it wasn't as amenable to my terrible Japanese as the PC Engine one was Posted by DanielC4 Oh is that a new feature, I always liked chocolate but it didn't used to Posted by Danielle Energizer. They stole Duracell's bunny that's so rude |
