If you had doglike powers, and could do three things of your choice... what would you do? Choose poorly.

I love playing games on the original hardware... I don't know, especially something like the Famicom Disk System with hard-wired controllers and the click and whirr of the disk...

On modern systems I feel like there's less of a connection to the hardware, but then my computer is not really powerful enough to emulate anyway. (The 3DS is of course an exception here, even if it had an emulator, because of that screen)

Of course, emulation has its benefits (screenshots, savestates...), and I don't bring my TV with me to college so it's the only way I can play most console games here.

But given the option, and assuming I'm playing solely for personal enjoyment, then console is pretty much my usual preference.

I feel sorry for the poor penguins, the only way they can post must be slapping their wings on a keyboard... can't be easy.

Pokémon Yellow's ones aren't bad at all.. apart from a select few.

RB are somewhat scary.. The Japanese RG ones are scary.

Well, it depends... if you go on a busy day (like I usually do) they often let people bypass the body scanners and just use the metal detector.

...Of course, you'd think busy days would be when you'd want the most security...

IMO, they may be planning on that. With Windows 8's Metro interface and its huge buttons all over the place, it seems obvious to me that they want to turn your PC into a giant tablet or phone. The signed bootloader thing reinforces this feeling.

Though, I won't speak for sure.

Well, Metro programs will be entirely restricted to being purchased through the Windows Marketplace... but I don't see anything about doing so on the desktop (though I also suspect they plan on abolishing it eventually)

Microsoft does emphasize the PC will always be an open platform. They will probably go the way of Android with their marketplace, warning you when you want to install an unsigned program.
Don't forget about all those Windows games, the desktop will always be open.
I expect to see ARM binaries for many popular desktop programs, in addition to the x86/x64 binaries we have now.
