He was the right man at the right time. He strove for the future, even when the rest of the company just wanted to make hanafuna cards. Once the company started making western playing cards, and than expanded out into other businesses it really started to blossom.

Even though he may not see this for a long long time, I wanted to pass on my birthday wish anyway.

Indeed. Actually the new horde battles also look interesting. I did watch the Pokemon Red and Green anime special, and I really liked it. I do like the mega Charizard design from Y (the black color variant).

The horde battles are a bit underwhelming, if you ask me. Granted, the fact that the levels are cut in half is to prevent you from getting totally ass rushed, but the exp gain suffers from it.

I've only encountered one horde battle so far, but that was pretty much my impression of it as well.

Yeah, I guess we're getting to the point were "Got to catch 'em all" can be changed to "If you catch them all you cheated, or have nothing else going for you..". We're almost at 800 Pokémon with this new game.

and yes, that Raichu is indeed eating a battery.

1500 Level 255 Mews.. each one with a different set of skills (at max PP) with perfect genes. Now that's a challenge.

.. or maybe that keyring Pokémon that became a meme..

I at least like that they didn't feel they had to add a lot of new ones. I am tempted to play it, but I really don't have the time at the moment to do so and enjoy it. I'll pick it up soon
