Heat indexes close to 110 degrees F., Temps near 100 degrees F., Exscessive heat warnings and the potential for flooding rains for some parts of the Quad Cities viewing area (Up north towards the Minnesota and Wisconsin boarder are flood warnings(?) due to the 6-7 inches of rain that fell there) We were under a severe watch yesterday until midnight today in case a section of storms swung out and affected us (swung out as in a swinging motion similar to a swing set) but it didn't and we were clear until this morning when more rain affected us but not as bad as yesterday's MCS.
