Now I may not be one for philosophy, but if I had to take a guess it's a metaphor for just how little man truly knows about the world. The pipes all being a giant jumbled mess truly goes to show how confusing our world is. Maybe the fact that we question what the pipes are all for is a metaphor for the fact that as a species we all question "what it's all for" Okay I legitimately can't type any more of this next question.
