Why do you people do this? It makes me feel lonely.

Well I can see why somebody would want to do that, since if somebody's online you can just constantly refresh their profile to see what they're viewing or something like that, there are people who don't like the idea of being watched to that extent.

Plus a moderator/admin would want to do that to secretly observe a thread where people are discussing nefarious things, or breaking the rules or what have you.

Board activity-wise: Currently, yes. FFXIV is down for an insanely long maintenance, I'm in the middle of several projects in-game that I'm itching to finish, and I'm bored mindless. It's 2:15 AM local time as I type this, so everyone with a sensible sleep pattern is asleep.
