My main desktop/laptop (17" which I use as a desktop) has 24GB (mainly because I run stuff like virtual machines to test out Hackintosh, Linux, old OSes, etc.  ) and use part of it as a RAM disk for temporary storage (so as not to burn out SSD faster)"Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Posted by skylI have 8 GB here. I'm watching prices for a 16GB Kit, since I need that sort of level of RAM. It's also faster RAM, so it should give me a slight performance boost, being closer to my motherboard's native clock speed anyway. The world could always use more heroes! |
