Yeah, but I'm kinda glad that they gave ground pound to Mario himself in later games. Do you ever try to do a ground pound or a spindash or whatever in a game then realize it wasn't invented yet? (like trying to spindash in Sonic 1 or ground pound in SMB3)

The only time this ever bugged me is in Sonic 1. Spindashing makes all the Sonic games way more intuitive.
