Posted by Swingball 1. It's not an exact copy. 2. Price point, inflation, and availability on platforms can also affect sales. Posted by Swingball Lemonade of all sorts is never overrated. Posted by Danika The fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade I had a couple months ago, made with real sliced strawberries. Amazing on a hot day. |

4. How is it not an exact copy?
4.25. What’s price point? 4.5. It was a Wii-exclusive. 4.75. How would inflation help sales any? ____________________ Sandobaggu ni ukande kieru nikui anchikushou no kao megake |

Posted by Swingball You are talking about the difference between Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros Wii, correct? If so, do you not have eyes? Posted by Swingball The price that an item is sold at in stores. Posted by Swingball Yes, and a lot of people had Wiis in their homes, even beyond the normal gaming crowd, where the NES was still reletively niche, even given its popularity. This gives a massive consumer base of people to buy the game, making it sell better. And that's before the bundles that had the game with it. Posted by Swingball I didn't say help. I said affect. Posted by ゼンガー・ゾンボルト Depends on who you ask. Check back next year. |

Posted by Danika Never thought about it. Won't be my first Kafuka Christmas, though. Or are we just talking layouts? |

Posted by Robbie Rage4. What are the biggest differences?Posted by Swingball 4.5. But it’s not like a launch game or anything, people could’ve bought another game. ____________________ Sandobaggu ni ukande kieru nikui anchikushou no kao megake |

Posted by Danika If I go the Batman route, probably Mr. Freeze. If I go the Overwatch route, most likely Mei with a pink name. Posted by Swingball Too many to list. Graphics, level layout, 4-player simultaneous play, new powerups, and more. Take your pick. Posted by Swingball It's a Mario game. Everyone knows Mario, and once casual players look for some other game to play that isn't Wii Sports, chances are good they'll reach for a Super Mario title. |

4. Besides multiplayer and gfx what are the TRUE DIFFERENCES? How is it any better than SMB or any of the first mainstream Mario platformers? Like SMB3? I read that game is like the SM64 of Mario sidescrollers? Or what about SMW?
4.5. They still could’ve bought Zelda or Animal Crossing or Metroid or something. ____________________ Sandobaggu ni ukande kieru nikui anchikushou no kao megake |

Posted by Swingball All this makes me believe you never actually played the game, and only read about it. It is an exceedingly different experience that has similarities only in the sense that is a side scrolling platformer with similar characters. Besides, we weren't talking about "better"...only "different". If you can, play the game and see for yourself. Posted by Swingball Yes, they could have, but they didn't. Twilight Princess seemed to come the closest, but you can't beat a mainline Mario title in terms of sales and name recognition. What exactly are you trying to prove here? |

Posted by Robbie Rage4. I’ve played the game but I STILL don’t see the major differences between NSMBW and SMB3/W besides higher gfx and aud fidelity. The gameplay still doesn’t feel different.Posted by Swingball What are the MAJOR GAMEPLAY DIFFERENCES? 4.5. You’re such a magician. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 5. Posted by Danika The first one to come to mind is Tick Tock Clock, but I know plenty of people would disagree with that. Posted by Swingball Now you're just moving the goalposts. This exchange started by looking at the difference between SMB and NSMBW. Every Mario game tends to gradually build upon the precedent of the previous ones; taking the best elements and expanding on them over time with tiny innovations here and there. Besides, you never answered my question: What are you attempting to prove? And why are you putting so much stake in me proving something else? Posted by Swingball I put on my robe and wizard hat. Posted by Swingball It may not be exactly this, but 8-Bit Universe is the closest thing I've found to what you're talking about in terms of sheer song volume. |

Posted by Danika Good question. MK64 comes to mind for being the first to capture the vibe of a super long endgame magic track. The MK8 remake of the 64 track comes close, but misses out on not making the player run laps on the whole track. |
