I decided to download World of Warcraft and give it a second shot.

I have three characters on Earthen Ring; a level 5 Draenei Shaman, a level 4 Human Warlock, and a level 3 Dwarf Hunter. I also have a single character on Azgalor, a level 15 Blood Elf Mage.

The Dwarf and Human are characters I'm just dicking around with, they're nothing really serious.

I quit the Dwarf, honestly, because trying to use the Quest Helper addon while it shits itself while trying to make sense of the quest descriptions just makes it too stupid to enjoy. The Human isn't bad, because the Human start area actually makes sense. The Draenei is for a group endeavor with a few of my friends, so far, I'm going to be paired up with two Human Paladins. This ought to be interesting.

As for the Blood Elf, that was just me and Curt fucking around while I got used to the game. I dunno what's going to happen to her when we get into our group adventuring, though.

EDIT: I dropped the $60 to buy the game keys up to Cataclysm, and immediately made a Goblin Mage on Earthen Ring. I haven't messed around much on him yet, though.

Finished Tales of Symphonia.. moving on to Tales of Symphona: Dawn of the New World.

Playing through on a New Game+ is rather nice.

Fucking World of Warcraft. I would say "that is all," but that would be a blatant lie, and would prevent me from venting frustration.

I have my goblin mage, Grakknor, he's level 10. I'm still in the start zone, and stuck on a would-be-trivial-for-if-I-could-tank-or-heal quest ranked at level 8. I have dubbed him the nickname of "Booger" since he's green and really squishy. The quest wouldn't be bad if they had done one of the following...
1) Removed the constant threat from the zombies having unexplained ranged attacks
2) Got rid of the goddamn zombies, since the quest before this one had me exterminate fifty of the motherfuckers
-OR-
3) Not taken away the fucking tool that was given to me to kill the aforementioned fifty zombies

Seriously, fuck this quest.

LOL Forgot about the boots, did ya?

I'd have to add you to Real ID since you're not on any of the servers I'm on, but I'd be happy to help ya through some dungeons if needed.

I've been playing Halo Reach again. Mostly making Achievement Horse maps since after my Mass Effect stint I've gotten rusty at MP. Halo matchmaking sucks giant flaccid elephant penis.

Megami Ibunroku Persona for the PSX (Revelations: Persona was the title of the US release)

Goddamn, it is frustratingly difficult. I had heard that the Japanese version was much tougher than the US localization, but I didn't think it would be THIS bad.

Still playing WoW. Got my Goblin out of his starting area, and started exploring Orgrimir and the surrounding areas. I started doing some North Barrens quests, but quit when the ever-so-fucking-retarded Quest Helper addon derped yet again and sent me pointlessly about two miles out of my way to fight mobs that were right where I picked the quest up for no discernible reason.

My group also had its first leveling session tonight. We started at level 5 and did a few quests before deciding to say, "fuck it" and meet up again at 15 so we could dungeon together since for some strange reason, there was a major desync on out exp gains. I rage quit tonight over catching aggro from everything I breathed loudly near, and dying six fucking times because of getting ganged up on by mobs from 300 yards away. WHAT THE FUCK?!? I understand that I'm the odd man out of the group as the only non-human (Draenei), but this is ridiculous!

I only made it about halfway through P1 before getting annoyed by it.

EDIT: I tried to get my Shaman up to level 15 for my group again today, but kept getting killed because she casts Lightning Bolt slower than a retarded slug, and kept pulling aggro from five miles away on res. So I decided to raise my human Warlock, which worked out so much better. I got from level 4 to 15 in about four hours.

It's annoying the crap out of me, too. The battles are sooooo long and it takes forever to rank personas up. Grinding is near impossible, I get too bored.

I hated how the monster scouting was never consistent and made no fucking sense whatsoever, so I was all the way up to whatever completion rate I was at with all of my base personas... They all sucked, too.

I decided to pick up Four Swords Adventures again and went onto level 2. It was alright until 2-2, The Village of the Blue Maiden or some shit like that... Then it got really annoying really fast by making me find moon pearls that didn't function anything like the LttP ones they were ripping off because they opened portals to "Dark World" in the sense of LttP's Dark World, except not. All just to go about a stupid trade sequence of sorts.

There was no real combat it 2-2, it was more or less pointless faffing about that would have been nothing more than an optional side quest in any other Zelda game. I mean, sure, I would have done it at some point along the way, but I hate it when it tells me that I have to do it before allowing me to move on, then doesn't give me any kind of hint about what I'm supposed to do. Were they even trying to make this a decent game?
My torrent of MySims finally finished after three days of waiting for the fucking thing since it was a full iso that downloaded at a staggering 13 KBps.

I started it up and created my town and named it "Herpyderpton." I'm not surprised that this game is just as bad as these reviews made it out to be. I mean, it was fun for about five minutes, then I realized the half hour of design on my retard's house didn't fucking matter because the interior of the house was tiny, despite having built a fucking mansion.

If I do decide to actually give this game the time of day to see it through to the end, I may just go for the bare minimum as far as designs go. Why? Because fuck creativity if I'm not rewarded for it.

My account authenticator came in the mail and I tied to to my account, which gave me my pet, the Core Hound Pup. Ain't he cute?

Since Dragon Quest VI has turned into a grindfest to prepare for Mortamor, I decided to switch gears back to Dragon Quest IX with a twist.

I decided that since I played legit on my physical copy, I would cheat for every item and breeze through the story with my Celestrian by herself. I apparently didn't pay much attention to the story the first time around, since I noticed a big plot hole.

When you land in Angel Falls after the catastrophe that followed Yggdrasil bearing fruit, you are taken in by one of the villagers, named Erinn. You do a few tasks throughout the town, being that you're the town's guardian Celestrian, but no one in town realizes who you are, yet you conveniently share the name of their guardian angel.

After a landslide cuts the village off from the main path out of the region, you find that the innkeeper of the nearby city of Stornway, the ever-present Patty, is going through the dilapidated path that travelers used to have to use to get between the two towns. Having saved Patty, you discover that she is looking for Erinn's father, Edwinn, to convince him to go back to Stornway to bail their inn out, since he's apparently the best thing since sliced bread as far as innkeepers go. Having found out from Erinn that he apparently died tragically two years prior to the storyline, Patty then tries to convince Erinn to go in Edwinn's place.

Part of convincing her to go includes finding out why Edwinn left Stornway in the first place, and that was because Erinn was a frail and sickly child that wouldn't have survived in the stress of the city. You also find out that the water in Angel Falls has this magical effect that can cure illness, as well as prevent it, which is why Erinn id alive, well, and strong... Yet it's revealed that Edwinn died from getting sick suddenly, and was unable to recover.

Does anyone else find it to be strange that the guy got sick and died in the town that had magical anti-sickness?

Sorry for the triple post, but it seems like I'm the only one on the board that appears to be playing more than one game at a time.

Since I just recently got my PS2 back from my friend; who borrowed it back in December, played it for two weeks, sat it in the corner of the room to collect dust, and refused to let me have the fucking thing back despite knowing that I had the game I'm about to talk about for about a month and a half... He was there at K-Mart when I bought the fucking thing. The game in question is Persona 3 FES. I had been looking for this game for a really long time before finding it in the $10 bin at the aforementioned K-Mart.

I'm about four hours in, and I must say... There were many things dumbed down and restructured from P3 to P4. For starters, I get the impression that you can get a social link with just about anyone, and the arcanum of the links don't make much sense. For instance, Junpei is your party member that represents the Magician arcana, but he isn't your Magician social link (Yosuke in P4 was both party member and social link of Magician). Instead, it's your classmate, in my case, Kenji. My sports team link is for the swim team, and it represents the Chariot. I was expecting it to be Strength, but apparently that's the team's manager. In P4, it's Strength for your teammate and Moon for the reluctant manager (who turns out to be an unlikeable cunt until you get to about rank 5).

The next thing is party control, you don't have it this time around, and it's jarring since the AI is half intelligent, and the other half dipshit. They know how to fight, and will learn from their actions whether they're being effective on the Shadows or not. It's also kinda weird how if you ask Yukari to heal in the field, she will blindly Dia everyone in the team, whether or not they need it, you don't have the option to spot heal in the field unless one of your Personas grants you a heal spell.

The last thing is that you have to watch you and your party's disposition, which is a combat-driven status. The more you fight in Tartarus, the more tired you get. The lower your condition, the worse off you are. You can have: Great, which is increased attack, defense, resistance and whatnot; Normal, which is just what it says on the tin, everything is applied normally; Tired, this is when your stats start to drop and your survivability starts to wane; and finally, Sick, where your stats take a huge hit, you're more likely to eat more critical hits, you fall down more often and subsequently stay down longer, costing you more turns, and you're more susceptible to ailments. Also, if you head back to the hub room, any tired or sick members leave the dungeon to rest, which is an interesting anti-grind mechanic. Your condition can increase by resting for a few days by not going back, sleeping in class, using the restroom, visiting the school nurse, and a few other things that relieve stress.
The other game I've been playing is Mario Kart Wii. Never before have I raged so hard at a racing game. Never before in the Mario Kart series have I been playing the 50cc races, having a good ten second lead, then getting nailed by every fucking hazard ever that drops me irrecoverably into eighth place.

A great example is the race I did before rage quitting to type this up. I was on the second race of the 50cc Special Cup, I had a good lead, and everything was great until I got hit by three blue shells, two red shells and got hit by an oncoming semi truck... All in quick succession. My four second lead turned into twelfth place, tailing eleventh by who-gives-a-fuck. I have never gotten so pissed that I turned my Wii off, and threw the wiimote across the room like that before.

Mario Kart Wii is bullshit, but Rainbow Road's music more than makes up for it.

I've nearly beaten Ocarina of Time 3DS and find myself wishing it was Master Quest.
