Posted by flashy2k In a word, I don't. It's what Jul and Kafuka currently represent to the community. There are a couple of reasons I consider it to be part (not the entirety) of it, the chief among them being that I consider Acmlmboard 3 to be feasible only in a symbolic, generational sense. The main users of Acmlmboards and Rom Hacking "culture" already tend to gravitate to other preexisting boards, such as Kafuka. This extends to Jul as well, except the backbone of which seems to be a forum for The Cutting Room Floor moreso than Rom Hacking. board2 doesn't seem to specialize in much or offer anything new to attract people to it, hence the lackluster activity. Unless Acmlmboard 3 came with some truly outstanding features or focus that no other Acmlmboard seems to have, no community is likely to emerge from there, and will ultimately be a waste of time. |
