Going off our little offshoot in the Acmlmboard3 thread. I was curious if you were locked into a single (dual typings allowed) type trainer.. what types would you use and why?
Electric and Psychic would be my choices. Most of the favorites fall under those two typings (and one has both lol). I've liked electric types since gen 1, and I've always seemed to pick up a Psychic type or two along the way. (I had a legit gen 1 Mew that I used. I lost it due to battery failure.) Even though a lot of people don't like Delphox I really enjoyed using one. Mega Gardevoir/Mega Gallade are a fun to play as well. I never got a chance to use Zekrom or Mega Ampharos I'd love to try them out as well. (I am getting pretty close to maybe rethinking Psychic and going Fairy.. almost. Mawile and Mimikyu are some recent favorites I discovered. Also I just don't like Dedenne that much.) So what are yours? ♥10918 ✿5052 ★55 Fire and psychic have always been my "big two types" since gen1; and though I really like Mimikyu I think I will stick with them.
Fire is mostly because Charmander was always my preferred starter (though I often didn't let him evolve into Charmeleon), and psychic because Sabrina was always my favorite gym leader, and I liked Abra's design a lot. |

I've run a Ghost-themed team before now. That was a beast. I also have a thing for Normal-types. Though, that had some of it cut off in the retyping of Gen 6.
But I'm certainly a Normal/Ghost-type trainer. Your type combos come out with the following: Emuz's signature Pokémon would be Alolan Raichu. Nicole's signature Pokémon would be Delphox. The world could always use more heroes! |

Water or Fairy... the former mainly because I love to swim and I usually go with the Water starter on a first playthrough... and the latter because Fairies are so damn cute  "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

Either grass or water type. Most likely a random fisherman.
I would have 6 pokemon and lead with a Magikarp, lulling trainers into a false sense of security before I wipe them out with my Quagsire, Gyarados, Carracosta, Blastoise, and Milotic. I would make a fortune in fight money and children's tears. |
