I could probably use clipconverter.cc to get the video anyway (as somehow it's not being currently blocked here, wow), but :effort:

I've recently heard that it sometimes actively refuses to download the audio track on some videos, but I've never come across that behaviour (yet)

Not really, it's more that the ISP places some... really questionable blocks over the connection at home for no reason. And by questionable, I mean complete nonsense such as blocking assemblergames.com or gbatemp.net. Alongside clipconverter, these are the websites I noticed getting blocked.

Note that none of this is being blocked where I currently am though.
