You'd probably be getting faster speeds on HSDPA+ (H+) than what you're currently getting.
It's funny how the fast 4G rollout here boosted broadband speeds here. The world could always use more heroes! |

We've had Verizon FiOS here in Albany since at least 2008 or 2009, we were one of the earlier markets to offer it (I remember when my parents were one of the first to have a broadband connection as my mom worked at what became Time Warner Cable at the time... also we were in the field tests of digital cable as well) "Miracles happen, when you believe..."

This was formerly the slowest speed my ISP offered. Now it's the second-slowest. The slowest is a "well fuck, we can't even offer that speed to over-subscribed areas" speed. Here though, the top speeds can be achieved. The world could always use more heroes! |

To be fair, my ISP is the fastest of the major providers in terms of download speeds. The trade-off is getting screwed over for upload speeds.
I used to think 50Mbps was fast, when that was the speed I got upon signing up four years ago. It's just exploded since then. First it was 70Mbps, then 100Mbps, now 200Mbps.. Note these are the "Up To" speeds for advertising, the hard caps have been set higher.. and I can hit my hard cap. The world could always use more heroes! |
