Firefox and its forks are a big mess, but at least it's not Chromium. I usually stick to standard Firefox with necessary extensions or forks like Waterfox.

This will be kind of a problem, even if you're using SeaMonkey since it's core is based on FF ESR.

Eventually they will be forced to switch and then RIP DownThemAll / non webby shit NoScript, again.

The problems I kept running into with Firefox.. First was their obsession with radical UI changes. It's as if they have UI Designer who gets bored and decides to redesign the UI every few updates.

Next one is cookies. They were moving to two options: No cookies ever or deluge of cookies. No in-between. I had to micro-manage cookies for years, just to not let the flood of them come in before they killed the option that let me do that. I had to then get an extension to carry on not getting flooded, and then it was no extensions available because they killed them all off.
