I request this thread to be deleted. It's going to turn into a cesspit if I say much more. Anyhow, I may stick around Kafuka occasionally/sporadically when I am back for real but I need to focus on real life more. Thanks for the support, anyhow, even if I decided to not properly act on it. I may setup a private thing for a few peeps I want to stay in touch with in future but it won't go much further than that, no need to take something seriously like a small forum/thing that is not intended to grow. I need to stop losing my temper over the past, and learn to move on, though. by the way, I feel adequately confident about my exams, and school has been over since last week. ____________________ Good riddance! |

IMO this thread is fine. I see no reason to delete it.
focusing more on your life is good. even if only temporarily to regain control of your life, it's a major mental support. while locking yourself out completely isn't good for you, after your numerous losses taking care of yourself is a good course of action. getting your life fixed up bit by bit while keeping in touch is a reasonable approach. a private group through a simple web app accessible from anything would be ideal, not like Discord you couldn't access from the various consoles you used for stealth internet. you don't necessarily need to shut yourself out of kafuka or anything, really. if you just leave the past behind, leave the bad memories and toxic people alone, you needn't force yourself to move on. it's okay to stick around. |

Well my dad would forceban me from the phone again if i use discord plus i hate its ux and the unofficial client rule

Yeah being around trans people isn't gonna negatively affect you unless said trans people are saying you should do things that you think aren't right for you (Transitioning, taking certain hormones, etc. I don't really know much about that stuff being a cis white dude and idk what you want personally but you get my point). If he's concerned because he had a bad experience with a trans person in the past and is generalizing as a result then he can fuck off. I've met some trans people who are completely off their rocker and are complete morons but that doesn't mean all trans people are the same. Don't take him seriously, clearly he doesn't have good judgement.
Even if your dad somehow manages to disconnect you completely you're not gonna lose everyone, you'd only be departed from us temporarily (that is assuming you decide to come back when you're able to return, which I'm assuming you will). |
