Did you know tomatoes are actually a fruit?
Did you know that if you stand still for a while in Jurassic Park on the SNES, you get a translucent (on real SNES and bsnes only) window telling you dinosaur trivia? ____________________ I don't give a flying feather |

Posted by KiyoshiFixed. Did you know that berries are technically not fruit? Fruit is defined by a fleshy body protected by a skin that encases its seeds in a central area, usually at the core. Berries, on the other hand, have seeds disbursed throughout the flesh, usually in little cell-like encasement. |

Did you know there's a couple of social scientists, doctorates and all, studying the brony subculture? This was spurred on by Fox News being Fox News as usual, and the lead scientist's son being a brony.
"So what've you been up to, son?" "Drawing ponies." The guy has his own OC too, and dresses up in a typical white lab coat on the conventions he attends (for science!) and would've watched season 2 if he weren't busy analyzing the ones who do. In related news, blargg (of NES and SNES emulation R&D fame) is also a brony. ← blargg's OC |

This needs to be revived.
Did you know that Dark Link has a special behavior when you use Nayru's Love? Too bad you never get to see it, since you can't get that without beating him. |

Posted by Liliana Sure you can. Skip across the broken bri--oh. You need the Longshot for that and you only get the longshot -after- Dark Link. ...Fuck. Isn't there some bug, though, that lets you get across there? The distance across the sand river is short enough for the Hookshot, I believe. And none of the distances in the Gerudo Fortress require the Longshot either. So the only hurdle is the river gorge... Also, speaking of Dark Link: the only reason anyone ever loses to Dark Link is because they do exactly what they've been taught to do with every other enemy in the game. |

Posted by GreyMaria Actually it's the other way around. You can't get across the sandpit with only the Hookshot, IIRC. You can jump the broken bridge with the horse, that's not the problem. |

Was it possible to enter the Shadow Temple without the Longshot? I can't remember. The world could always use more heroes! |

It's an actual honest-to-God broken bridge, and Epona won't hop it, IIRC. (I already passed that point in the 3DS version, so I'd have to replay up to there... good thing to try for a three heart run?)
You need the Longshot to cross it; the sand river is short enough for the Hookshot. I recall something about a bug involving the Iron Boots to get across, though... Gywall: You'll only be taught the Nocturne of Shadow after beating the Water Temple and Fire Temple... so unless you can glitch in somehow... E: This looks promising. |
