You know, I was just sitting there as per usual in front of my PC. I had my wiener in hand, various doujins on my screen, as I do, and I was thinking right. Why are humans 70% water? I've been having many doubts in regards to water lately. Water is normally something one does not question, as it is commonly seen as the essence of all life. But is it really?
People die. People die a lot. In a variety of different ways. Or do they? Sure some peoples' life gets cut off in unnatural ways. Murder/slaughter, car accidents, or what have you. But could there be something killing all of us inside without even our realization? Death of old age, natural death. It's something we see as so natural we hardly even examine it. But what if the cause of natural death has been staring us in the face the whole time? Notice all of the people who've died. What did they all have in common? They all drank water. People at first start as these little empty slates, and they live the first 25 years or so of their life young, spirited and valiant. But what after that? Sure they may remain that way for a little while longer. But eventually they start reaching their 40's and beyond. Everything slowly weakens within them. They slowly lose their cognitive and physical abilities until they are nothing more than old crusty husks waiting for the sweet release of death. Even before then, was it any better? Before that this person probably lived to appease others. They may have had their good times within their youths, but before they know it they have less and less time for these good times. Their lives are spent chained to a desk, making some asshole they probably hate rich, working some dead-end job they probably hate, with a nagging wife and bratty kids to put up with after that. What did everyone who got old do? What did everyone who lived such boring, empty lives do? Drink water. Aging is caused by water poisoning us until we slowly die.
