Also, Weezer, but that also falls into the category of soulless white boy shit, doesn't it? I don't think I've heard anything on the radio since 2015 or so that was even remotely bearable. I've never been a big fan of radio stuff anyway... it's always taken some digging to find the really good stuff. I goddamned blame Robin Thicke. Robin Thicke and his shallow womanizing meme hashtag carnival hook humanity-lacking fake R&B god, damned, horse, shit. Fuck him, fuck him, fuck him. Fuck Blurred Lines. Burn it in hell forever. Throw it into a trash compactor and shed zero tears. I hate it with the virulent, seething passion that a person has for someone who stole their lover away. I hate it. I know it's not really relevant anymore, but goddamn I just saw an article about the "legacy" that song had and I hate it. I guess I'm almost tempted to put Weezer down, yeah. How the fuck are they still relevant. Are they still relevant? They still get radio play. At least most of these modern teen boy artists have room to grow even if I strongly doubt that they'll grow whatsoever. But Weezer's old and they're just going to continue to exist and they're going to continue to get worse. I hate Weezer. They're just as manufactured and fake as KISS or the Backstreet Boys or whatever teen pop band if not more so, but they've fucking conned us all into thinking otherwise, and also they're not even that good at writing pop hooks. Fuck you Rivers Cuomo. I listened to a song on his Alone home recordings thing and he actually wrote the lyric "what the hell am I doing / thinking with my willy". Please never use the word "willy" in a song again. (The weird thing is for all of this vitriol I expressed in this post, most "cringey" music I actually don't really hate that much. Nickelback's just boring but I don't hate them, Linkin Park have a couple of songs I actually kinda like, and most boy band pop I've heard is average-to-decent) |

She's absolutely adorable and amazing, she loves sweets (like me), she's a goth, she dresses all gothic lolita and wears striped purple stockings (like me if I could), she cusses a lot and gets mad over stupid shit (like me), she's honestly kind of a nerd (like me), and I love her to pieces. Basically, she is a perfect anime character. Right now I really really really want this. I mean, I'd consider a cat, maybe... but only if I knew I could take care of it well and be a good owner, you know? I like cats -- I had two back home and they were wonderful, plus there's another one living here that I like a lot too. |

As a pet? Bleh. I don't really like the idea of owning domesticated catgirls/foxgirls -- something about the whole thing strikes me as like, wanting ownership of someone innocent and demure and submissive who'll do your every bidding or something. (now if we're talking about me being the pet... that's a different matter entirely...)
In general? I think catgirls are usually kinda boring, but they can be real fricken adorable sometimes. It depends on the catgirl, I guess. I think I still like foxgirls, but lately I think I've been keen on bunnygirls, if we're talkin' kemonomimi. Bunnies have such big adorable floppy ears and they're wonderful. Also what about catboys and foxboys. Why ain't we talkin' about boys. Misandry at work again, folks |

Um... given that there's no shortage of genuinely gorgeous and amazing Ghibli films I might pick one of those. Maybe Kiki's Delivery Service? It seems pretty chill, plus it's beautiful. Pokémon's another obvious pick... there's something exciting about the world there, plus you know, actual Pokémon! One world that I definitely wouldn't pick is Evangelion's. For, uh, obvious, reasons. |
