Posted by Danika Honestly, the IIgs does everything you could want an Apple II to do on its own... you can set the processor to 1MHz, boot from a ProDOS 8 boot disk, hook up a composite monitor, and you've basically got a fully-specced //e, with serial ports, 80-column support, and all. I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for the ][plus so that makes that model worth it to me... (we had it in elementary school, and thinking about it 1995 is really late for that machine in retrospect) |
