♥1264 ✿4706 ★50 I had a "thin crust" pizza- but it was pretty much the same as this pizza place's regular crust. If I had paid extra for it I would have felt ripped off... |

I had some leftover ham barbecue my dad made last night and made it into sandwiches. It's pretty good, but not as good as my mom's. |

Posted by NicoleSome pizza firms tend to use horrible marketing to get you to buy. I've seen a true "thin crust" which was very.. thin.. Regular crusts (sometimes marketed as thin) which actually hold relatively flat when held.. then deep pan crusts, which are nice. The world could always use more heroes! |

I had macaroni.
Just the macaroni. Bare and tasteless. Why, you may ask? Dinner is served at 17:30, and last until 'round 18:00. You might've noticed this pattern on IRC. I arrived in time, and we all spent the next fifteen minutes or so waiting for the sauce to be finished. It was cold, having been prepared earlier, and needed gentle heating. The caretaker in charge today failed hard at timing. At about 17:50, I said FUCK IT and got me a plate of lukewarm macaroni, no sauce, no nothing. The others are eating warm sauce and cold macaroni right about... now. There was only one other dude at the table who had warm sauce AND warm macaroni at the same time, because the guy can't eat eggs -- he had his own sauce. Lucky for him. |

I did some grocery shopping today and got one of the Digriorno pizzas that come with the bread sticks. Not the greatest lunch, but at least it's something since I haven't eaten much over the past few days. |

Pizza again... Only this time I hiked up to Hilltop, which is a convenience store whose namesake gives away where's it's located. I had a coupon for a free pizza, was hungry, and decided to walk up there. Got it with extra cheese, because fuck pepperoni. |

One tasty omelette. Best made with a cheese which acquires a potent punch once cooked. The world could always use more heroes! |

Since this is the food thread:
Is there anything you CAN'T make better by putting bacon on it? |

Posted by Trelior We sampled some magnificently meat-flavored veggiesausage patties at Costco about a week back. Those damn granolaheads somehow made something that tastes like delicious meat. |

Posted by GreyMariaWhat I don't understand about veganism is that... If they're 'not allowed' to eat meat... Why create a meat-flavored substitute?Posted by Trelior Seems a take hypocritical to me. |

Posted by TreliorIt's about ethics mostly. Real meat involves animals suffering, whereas the substitute involves no animal suffering. Also to topic.. not eaten anything for quite a while. Too hot weather to even want to eat. The world could always use more heroes! |
