Giant Koopa Keeping ROM Hacking gangsta since 2003... Level: 71 Posts: 1145/1262 EXP: 3149176 Next: 17938 Since: 08-07-12 From: Brooklyn, NY Last post: 245 days Last view: 245 days |
The reason why I'm asking is because me and someone else is going to hack The Little Mermaid for the NES, and I'm taking the task to draw monsters over the enemies in the game.
And this is the only thing I can find for that game. So what program would I need to get for making a sprite sheet for the enemies? Thanks for any tips.

♥12869 ✿5150 ★10 Do you have a ROM editor like YY-CHR or whatever else the kids are using these days? Most (but not all) NES games have uncompressed graphics, so you could easily open it in one of those and flip through... you'd still have to apply the palettes yourself but it would get you the sprites. |

I have YY-CHR on me, but I'm not good at using that sadly.
I mean, I'll have to take a look into it if that's the case, I've been getting motivated to draw and this project is the perfect fix for me.
Maybe it's time I start using YY-CHR anyway, people say it's better than TLP and I been using TLP for years. ![]() ____________________ Beacons.AI My Discord Server |
