Returned briefly to Mortal Kombat 11 after adding a third competitive variation for all characters...and The Terminator as DLC.
Arnold isn't bad, although he doesn't translate quite as well to a fighting game as I'd hoped IMO. Went back to my boy Baraka in no time at all. I might give Kotal Kahn a second look, too. |

i think it's weaker than the other 2, which is to say it's still "pretty good" and "solid" but i'm still really enjoying it. there's some dumb levels like the underwater levels but other than that it's lots of fun |

Noncommittally playing Mario Odyssey again. I'm on cleanup of the first visit to Luncheon Kingdom right now. It's a slog because I think the world's color palette choice is ridiculous.

Played through Zelda: Oracle of Ages on Stream, and played it poorly. Moved onto Oracle of Seasons on my last stream since Black Tower was anticlimactically short. |

Posted by NicolynYeah, from what I understand, the original Street Fighter was kinda shit. I remember watching Larry Bundy and Ashens reviews on it, and the subsequent non-starter sequels that were (questionably) licensed. Shit show all around! |

Been playing Control.
It's a pretty decent game, if not for the fact the game throws all sorts of bullshit scenarios at you. Some enemies can reduce your health to a critical slither in a single hit, even if you have fully upgraded health. Fortunately, the game does have a health-gate so that you can't be one-shotted ever. The game's fairly hard due to that, especially in certain boss fights where the boss is not much of a threat by themselves but the minions can easily gang up on you and roll you in two hits. The game does look fantastic though. It's no surprise it was part of one of Nvidia's game bundles, promoting the ray-tracing feature of their RTX cards. Game's a bit on the short side mind you. If you're purchasing it, I'd advise waiting for a sale - there's not enough content to justify the price of it. I'm just glad I got the game as part of the bundle. The world could always use more heroes! |
