Posted by DarkWitchClaire Tsundere would be an obvious one, but apart from that... probably any sort of generic harem/isekai protagonist. Posted by Danika Can't think of too many anime that have disappointed me, per say, as I typically try not to set my expectations too high for things. This isn't so much an anime but an arc, but the last arc of Yu Yu Hakusho was kind of a kick in the nuts, especially after all the great stuff that came before it in the Dark Tournament and Chapter Black arcs. It leaves the whole show with an ending that's sort of unsatisfying. Sadly, this was mostly the result of Togashi basically becoming a workhorse for shonen jump and working himself nearly to death to the point where he just got burned out and wanted it to end already. It left one of my favorite series just feeling... incomplete. At least we got some neat movies/OVAs and such. Especially the Poltergeist Report movie. The animation in that movie... god damn it's good. Glad Togashi at least gets more freedom/resources with Hunter x Hunter.
