I basically went to work today. I basically have been spending all my time moving I am finally done. So I am 'decompression' mode. I'm working on sorting things I've moved that don't have a place yet.. That's what's on the plan for tonight.

I decided to finally reconnect my hard drive to my Wii and test out the games I've been downloading for the past week to see if they worked. Good news, They all do!

I wound up deleting one of the games since it was a really shitty hack of New Super Mario Bros... I played 1-1 to about the midpoint before returning to the Wii menu in disgust. Enemies were strewn everywhere in a way that lacked any semblance of subtlety that they were deliberately made for 1-up grinding... But since it runs off of your NSMBW save file to begin with, I used my perfect file that had 99 lives for Mario to begin with. There was also a "bonus" area that had not one, but two boxes with Mini Mushrooms and Starmen... If I'm not mistaken, even if you're playing multiplayer, those boxes spew powerups for everyone... Which makes the second box for both items worthless.

When I was testing Ninjabread Man, I found out why the WBFS was so tiny (64MB)... And that was because it's only three levels and a required tutorial that was designed for any mentally deficient retard or small child could complete easily... As a result, I decided to replay the game with my Wii hooked to my computer to record a Let's Play of it. It's uploading to Youtube as I type this now. I might even post the videos or link to them at some point.

I mowed the lawn today, and wound up breaking the weed whacker... I dunno how it happened, either. I was clearing out the end of tangled grass that it sucked in, went to get back to mowing, and the throttle trigger snapped off. This sucks.

I am at Zion National Park right now. I am sitting next to a campfire as I write this post. Earlier today, I hiked 15 miles. I hiked up to an area called "Angel's Landing" and after that hiked "The Narrows" which was 80% covered by a river. I am fucking sore.

However, the payoff was worth it. I have tons of pictures and will eventually upload and post some here.

I had an interesting scenario this morning at work.

It was about 4:00, and I was doing my typical being bored at work until a driver came in and said that she was having an electrical problem. She had just been at the TA in Barkeyville (about forty miles west of us) and had an electrical systems check on her engine because her voltage gauge was acting up and her battery indicator was going haywire... Her maintenance manager told her to stop in and see us, and while I was writing up the work order to check out the issue, her batteries fucking caught on fire.

No worries, though, we reacted in time and saved the truck. The only real damage was that the wiring harness got melted, two of the batteries exploded, and the other two partially melted.

The company is having the truck towed to the Freightliner dealer over in Dubois tomorrow morning for them to do a thorough perusal of the cause, although Adam and I are pretty sure it was a shorted wire.

Short circuits are fucking scary.

IMPULSE BUY! Painkiller Complete Pack for $7.49 on Steam. Offer ends nine hours from now.

I'm going to be spending a lot of time stapling zombies to walls.

I wound up sleeping most of the day. Not sure why, but I was really tired... Probably from the excitement yesterday.

I did a little bit of yard work, not a whole lot, though.

Trying to decide when to go to bed for work tonight.

I've been doing little but write.... Pretty much for the entire week, actually. I'm nearly done with the first third of my book, finally getting to the actual adventure and interesting bits. That's always how it is though, the cool parts are at the end.

Who wants to read about four guys traveling to a castle when you can skip ahead and see them killing people?

I spent a good part of the day fucking around in FFII, which lead to the calculation rant of >>16097; got a call from Radioshack telling me the 8GB memory card for my PSP I ordered was in, so I went and picked it up; Now I'm starting to get things figured out to optimize the number of games I have on each since I can't fit them all between both cards (I have 14GB of games and only 12GB storage, gotta leave save room, too).

All the while, I've been watching Nostalgia Critic on Youtube on channels that want to use Doug's success to net them subscribers. Pretty productive if you ask me.

I spent a few hours tinting windows around the house. That plus the repair in the basement means that the house isn't unbearably hot. I watched an episode of 24, which inspired my profile picture--it was either that or one from Gattaca--but all in all, today was somewhat productive. Of course, it's only 5pm here so I still have several hours to knock off.

I might as well take a look at that ceiling fan, it was making such a racket earlier. I'm willing to bet it was just a few loose screws.

Just got home from work. All I have to say is that I don't like working Sundays 9-4... It was hell on wheels. I was under a constant stream of customers that very rarely and very shortly broke. I hope tomorrow 4-midnight isn't quite as frantic.

Today I didn't do much, really. I spent a bit of time with the family, which actually turned out to be somewhat... fun. It's was awkward at first, but then I realized that I was being treated with more respect than before. In all my struggles to avoid contact with family members who were not my immediate family, I never thought that the experience itself would change. They're alright people, I understand that now.

Yard work. A bunch of yard work.

I mowed the hillside beside the garage, and did some trimming. I accidentally mowed down one of my dad's flowers, though. x_x

I spent the day reviewing some of my textbooks and watching a few TV shows here and there. I reviewed a few chapters of biology, learned a few pages of Java, and drove to the place where I'm planning to reattempt martial arts. I was lazy the rest of the day and just watched whatever I could find on television.

I spent a lazy morning attempting to do something productive. I decided to spend a few minutes on here. Oh, and I started learning that "thousand miles" by Carlton on the piano. I've gotten the first few lines down, but my lack of practice is taking a bit longer to overcome than I hoped.
