♥13440 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by Danika Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, and Star Trek Generations. Oh, and a boxed set of Disney's Fantasia. And Dances with Wolves, for some reason. So, er, not great? But not terrible... for someone who watches as few movies as me there are at least movies there that I like to rewatch? Posted by DarkWitchClaire It's the Pioneer CLD-A100 from 1993; it can play CDs, but no automatic side flipping or surround sound. It can play some other things too, so that's nice... automatic side-flipping would probably be nicer though |

♥13441 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by DarkWitchClaire I think so! I mean, it definitely shows its age, but it's still a fun watch. Posted by Danika As a kid, it was definitely Chemical Plant Zone, Act 2. I think we all know why. |

♥13443 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by Danika The Edomites made motherboards? Wow, good on them, but I always preferred those from Sumeria. |

♥13444 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by DarkWitchClaire Hm, something old, but with a reasonable interface (no punch cards), and some interesting software to run on it... maybe the PDP-10 fits the bill? Give that Zork source a spin. Of course, would I have a PDP-10 in my house? Probably not, they're too big, and then you need a terminal on top of all that... Wouldn't mind having a vintage terminal in my house that could dial into someone's PDP-10 somewhere else over an internet bridge, though And terminal standards haven't changed too much, so I bet I could use the same terminal to connect to modern machines. Posted by Danika The Pinebook Pro is already pretty thin with the tapered edges look... |

♥13445 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by DarkWitchClaire I'm typing this on a 2017 MacBook 12" that is just thin enough for a USB-C port... and other than the failure-prone keyboard I'm pretty happy with it. I'd say anything thin enough that you can't fit a USB-C port is too thin Posted by Danika Does the SX-64 count? |

♥13448 ✿4707 ★51 Posted by ゼンガー・ゾンボルト Nope. Sonic 1 was the last of the original series Sonic games I played as a kid, though, so by then I guess I had more experience... Also, LZ at least has the benefit of having frequent water bubbles. As opposed to CPZ, which doesn't have any... |
