I used to hang around Acmlm's Board a lot back in like... 2004-2005 I guess?  I was a semi-lurker, I did post a little bit but I think I tended to read more than speak. Which was probably for the best. But anyway, I went looking for what became of that place in a fit of nostalgia and ended up here. I even recognize a name or three floating around!
In the age of centralized platforms like Facebook and Twitter, I really missed standalone forums like this. I'm glad y'all are here.  |

Even the more centralized social media sites such as YouTube, Twitter or what have you were fairly innocuous 10+ years ago relative to what they are now. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't have many accounts in my earliest days of using the internet, and most of the ones I did have are on fairly obscure websites/forums that nobody really knows or cares much about. Didn't stop me from doing a hell of a lot of stupid embarrassing shit later on though. Live n learn I guess.
