The topic changing is a nice thing when it flows like a river. Makes for some nice reading.

I tend to not read topics too much.. I kinda read them subconsciously not taking in details.

Eventually we should make some threads out of those ideas.. especially if they have legs and can walk alone as it's own topic. :) Just a suggestion. hehe

I half expected a comment out of @Kawa regarding that sketch I got.

I guess I don't know people any more.

I've been fighting µTorrent for bandwidth all day... I could understand if the two torrents that were downloading were coming in at a rate of, say, 200KB/s each and having a hard time loading Youtube and other pages... But NO! they're fucking around, only coming in at 20KB/s.

What the fuck?

This is exactly why I like programs you can hard limit download rates on. In fact, BitTorrent has a setting to apply a limit to how fast you upload/download. >_>

You can set a limit with µTorrent, but it only does good when throttling the torrents down actually, y'know, reduces the speed.

Meltdown to the Danger Zone
I could've sworn the song was Highway to the Danger Zone... Then again, this is Kafuka, where our version of New York's Madison Square Garden is a Hypercube...

EDIT: Upon further thought... "Kafuka" means "Overclock," so using the word "Meltdown" is fucking genius.

Wasn't it "Overload" for the meaning of "Kafuka"?

Overload yes. But it still melts if it's overclocked or overloaded I suppose. I've changed it just to change it. lol :D

I played a few scratch-off lottery tickets this morning. Paid $5 in, won $10 and a free ticket, so I played a few more and won $4. I played $16 worth of tickets and only lost $1 overall. Pretty damn good if you ask me.

Those tend to be one of the biggest thieves over here. I've seen people that can spend around £40 a day on them.

That's $62 to you silly American people. <_<

While I was scratching the tickets, the lady behind the counter mentioned another frequent customer she gets from down in Marzenland (Georgia) that says the state with the best scratch-off odds is Florida.

Nah, I don't test my luck often. Especially not with money.

Instead, I spend it on things more worthwhile like that toothpaste dispenser <_<

I test my luck frequently.. I'm fairly lucky to be honest.

And a toothpaste dispenser.. what's wrong with manually squeezing it from the tube?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a money-off one instead. A fair few over here have some things stated out on the back.. One I see commonly is worth £5, without change given..

Not that that stops idiots trying to use it for like £1.20 worth of stuff and expecting change.. and arguing when you say no change given despite it being printed on the back.. <_<
