Posted by DarkWitchClaire Whatever I would've submitted wouldn't have been worth jack shit, I'm terrible at designing robots and drawing mechanical shit in general. I'd like to perhaps create someone with a motif based around time, maybe the design can be based around a VCR or something. In general though, I'd probably like to explore a character with some form of time manipulation. I realize Time Man exists, but perhaps there are more avenues to explore in that regard. For instance, maybe it can skip ahead a certain amount of time similarly to King Crimson from Jojo by skipping ahead a certain amount of game steps. For instance, if you had pressed the button to jump, and the skip happens, the game will teleport you to a state in which you are either in the middle of or have already completed the jump. The strategy is based around predicting where you will end up upon the time skip so you can act accordingly, which would also be in line with Megaman's generally trial-and-error based gameplay. Or perhaps, similarly to Sakuya's boss fight in Touhou EOSD, time can temporarily stop, they can lay out a certain array of projectiles, and you have to dodge them accordingly upon time resuming.
