I guess I have always liked really well-developed villains in anime, characters like Yoshikage Kira from JoJo, Younger Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho, and Meruem from Hunter x Hunter. Some other notable picks for me would prolly be Shampoo from Ranma 1/2, Kazuma Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho, Yukko from Nichijou, Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop and Lina Inverse from Slayers. I could probably go on about this subject for far too long, I'm a real piece of weeb trash.
