This is a shell extension DLL that makes Windows Explorer work nicely with byuu's cartridge folder system. Basically, once installed ("regsvr32 cartridgefolder.dll" as admin, then set up the path to bsnes in the registry), double clicking a folder that has a name ending in .sfc and that contains a file program.rom causes it to be opened in bsnes, while leaving the usual effect available from Explorer's menu.

OV2 did the grunt work, we're all very proud of him for that, and I extended it to avoid false positives and actually start bsnes instead of just showing a message box with the folder's name.

Because it was either this, or having to set all your cart folders' System attribute and putting a desktop.ini file each.

Updort: byuu rewrote this in nall/phoenix, as an official part of bsnes. It's called kaijuu and I'm not credited (though OV2 is). But that's okay, cos when I say it was all my idea, I have the thread to back it up.
