I caved and downloaded Pokemon Go to grind these little fuckers out.
Figured since I have my modded Switch, I would restore my copy of Let's Go Eevee from the high seas to facilitate the grind. The mystery box lasted an hour, and I got the fantastic quota of 69 specimen. This is the strongest one I caught. I figure If I'm gonna do a giveaway on both Melts, I may as well have at least one legit one of each. I think what I'm gonna do is evolve the one in the screenshot, or a stronger one if I find one. and send the strongest Meltan I don't evolve to Let's Go and Home it into (probably) Sword. It'll be Monday before I can activate another box though. |

Not the Meltan of the last pic, this one was about 50% stronger. Gonna send him and my strongest Meltan into Let's Go to be sent to Gen 8. Pretty proud of this achievement. |

Finally hit the level to get pinap berries, and I've been stockpiling. I've only been playing since July 26. Luckily, my apartment sits PERFECTLY between four stops and a gym that happens to be Mystic territory. I stole the gym from Valor this morning when I skipped a Dratini to Dragonite. We had control of the gym for 11-ish hours, Valor booted us out, then Instinct kicked them out, then I kicked the Zapdos-worshipping cunt and put Dragonite back on it. What makes me think this is Mystic territory is because in the hour I've been in control of the gym, it's filled up. The most I've seen of red is three or four, and yellow is cute thinking they're Pokemon trainers. 
I went Mystic because I'm cool and number one, so ARTICUNO is my boi. |

Sounds like you don't even need to put your shoes on, just waltz into the right place and you can battle in the gym. Would be super cool if there were a decent number of players around the same area in case a legendary raid pops up!

I have a couple perfect 'mons, myself, but none of them are noteworthy. I did get a Ditto that was disguised as a Spinarak. I also got this bad bitch last night.
I don't have enough candy to go to Crobat yet. Which is probably a good thing since keeping her as Golbat will allow me to send her to Let's Go to be sent to Home to wait for Crown Tundra. |

This is proof, to me, that my close gym is Mystic territory
We tore this fucker apart. 
Only lost my big Melmetal and Dragonite during the fight. There were at least 20 players in this raid. It was pretty great. Also found this guy the other night.  |
